Privacy Policy
This policy explains how VIROMI CORP., a Washington corporation doing business as StockWing (“StockWing,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses and shares information through stock-wing.com, the StockWing application, and the websites StockWing hosts for its business customers.
Who this applies to
StockWing is software for businesses that store, ship and track materials. It is used by:
- Business customers (“tenants”) and the staff they give accounts to.
- People whose information a tenant keeps in StockWing, such as the tenant’s customers, vendors and shipping recipients.
- Visitors to stock-wing.com and to tenant websites hosted on StockWing.
When a tenant enters information about its own customers, vendors or shipments, the tenant decides what to collect and why, and we process that information on the tenant’s behalf to provide the service. If your information is in a tenant’s records, you may want to contact that business directly as well as us.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number (if provided), password (stored only as a one-way hash), and your role within your organization.
- Business records entered by tenants: company and contact names, titles, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and shipping addresses, notes, inventory and work-order records, and shipment details including sender and recipient names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.
- Documents and images: files uploaded to or generated by the service, such as packing slips, invoices, certificates of conformance, shipping labels, receiving photos and product images.
- Website contact forms: if you submit a contact form on a tenant website, we store your name, email address, phone number (if provided), message, IP address and browser type, and make them available to that tenant.
- Activity information: which user created or changed records, and server logs of requests to the service.
- Device and equipment data: temperature readings from connected sensors, and the network addresses of label printers and devices a tenant configures.
We do not collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers or location tracking data through StockWing.
How we use information
- To provide and operate the service, including inventory, receiving, shipping, labels, temperature monitoring and tenant websites.
- To create shipping labels and track shipments with carriers.
- To read data from receiving documents you upload.
- To send service emails such as password resets and alerts you or your organization set up.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse (for example, rate-limiting contact forms), and troubleshoot problems.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers we share information with
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Railway — hosts our application servers and database.
- Cloudflare — network delivery and security for our websites, and storage for uploaded and generated files.
- EasyPost — shipping rates, labels and tracking. When a label is purchased, the sender and recipient name, company, address, phone number and email address are sent to EasyPost and the carrier.
- Resend — delivers service emails (recipient address and message content).
- Microsoft Azure AI Document Intelligence — reads receiving documents you upload to extract order and shipment details.
- T&D WebStorage — if a tenant connects T&D temperature sensors, we use the tenant’s account credentials to retrieve temperature readings.
- Google — our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and tenant websites may show an embedded Google Map, so your browser contacts Google when you view them.
- Unsplash — some images on stock-wing.com load from Unsplash, so your browser contacts Unsplash when you view them.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Cookies and browser storage
StockWing does not use advertising or analytics cookies. When you sign in, the app keeps your sign-in session in your browser’s local storage, and it may remember display preferences such as label layout. If you use the scanner, the app asks for permission to use your device’s camera to read QR codes. Cloudflare may set cookies needed to protect the site from attacks.
Security
Information is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, access to each tenant’s data is limited to that tenant’s accounts, private files are served only through short-lived links, and integration credentials for temperature sensors are encrypted in our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep information for as long as the tenant’s account is active or as needed to provide the service. Tenants can delete many records themselves, such as contacts, companies, shipments and products. For other deletion requests, contact us.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below. If your information is in a tenant’s records, we may refer your request to that tenant, since they control those records. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children
StockWing is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last Updated” date above.
